just on the news - its degrading badly but the gov wont fork out the 1million a year to remedy it.
why do I think that the queen will get shipped off to windsor, visiting dignitaries will get happy meals and buck house will be redeveloped into an exclusive mews development set in attractive parkland.
Its that Brian Mays fault, All that Guitar-twanging from Buck-house roof a few years back, started 'vibration-damage' :-)
It is the side built from French stone - the other three sides built from Bath stone are fine.

Are you sure it just didn't buckle under the weight of the Brian May curly wig ? :-)
Hehe. I guess that now it's open to the public, they won't want anything falling on some unsuspecting joe public while he/she is going ooh, aaah, look at those chandeliers.. :) I'm told it is spectacular inside, but not as good as Beamish's field, BBQ sausages more superior in Leicester.. :)
More rain more like it :-)
It is fantastic cos I've been there for tea with Her Majesty - you know what the most fantastic bit is the trees all labelled with King George V planted this Victoria planted that amazing and the food Beamish's is far superior I know cos I've been there too no comparison whatsoever.
