One of the Forum members has said that he's seen a new C1 being tested by BMW in Spain. It's due out next year according to him, and has the roll cage and seat belts but is less top heavy
Who knows? :-)
Can we have some more information on this ? How does it looks like comparing to our C1, etc...
Lighter, lower centre of gravity, single seater, 125 and 250 engines, roll cage, seat belts and similar in concept to the C1 i.e safe.
lighter and less top heavy? unless you fit a plastic screen there arent many ways to lighten the top unless you lower the cofg by making the bottom weigh even more.
wouldn't surprise me if they are tinkering around the edges with concepts in the same way as the clever but allthough bmw badged they werent sponsored arrangements and there arent any plans to produce. Probably another uni where they have donated a couple of bikes just to see what happens.
reallistically they could probably restart a smaller scale of production as they are still churning spares out anyway.
I dont think that it's possible to fit plastic screens because they scratch. I wonder if anyone on the site has access to BMW design and whether BMW might spin it off? Cheers
bikes like the adiva have plastic screens and they hold up pretty well by all accounts
Most fighter jet canopies are made of perspex: it's how they invented the contact lens.....
Maybe so, but they don't have wiper-blades to tramline 'em!!
I know its keeping grit and muck off thats important but dont you use a softer compound wiper blade on plastic screens? from what I've discussed with two adiva owners they dont seem to have a issue with it.

What??? you mean they stuck a couple into some bind guys head!!!
So THATS where the alien pictures originated! :-)
