I'm just coming up to 40K miles and thought it might be about time to look inside the variator. The top speed seems down a bit but then my BMI is up a bit :-)

Can anyone advise on what would be a suitable replacement for a 200 variator, assuming I don't use BMW parts, and also if I just need to put in new rollers, what the stock weight is? I know they're 20mm x 17mm but am not sure of the 200 weight...

polini variator like the 125 one, wet centre dry rollers hard chromed face.

9g for 125 10g for 200 but 9g fine in 200 10g not great in 125 :-)

the malossi one is crap and wears out in no time.
