When it rains and although I think no real water gets there, the moisture (?) makes difficult to turn the ignition key. I need to attempt 10-20 times until it changes its mind.
A. Any experiences?
B. Can I bypass this in case I want?
sounds like you might need a new ignition barrel assembly maybe.Or try wd40
I am just afraid if wd40 can have worse results
One time I put wd40 and the stand mechanism lever and it became really faulty
well, that could only happen to you I think............:-)
The stand mechanism is definitely not the place for WD40, it will cause problems because of the nylon parts and friction that it relies on. Try degreaser on the stand mechanism instead.
In a key hole WD40 should do no harm.
Will try tomorrow
It's a graphite based lubricant you need for locks.
